Evžen Deroko
Eugen Derocco (; - ) was a Serbian and Yugoslavian railway engineer and administrator. He is best known as the pioneer of Serbian and Yugoslavian philately and author of numerous Philatelic literature, philatelic books and papers. He was and remains the foremost expert on Postage stamps and postal history of Serbia, Serbian pre-World War I postage stamps. He was called "the greatest Serbian philatelic researcher, author and collector", "the greatest Yugoslavian philatelist", and "Belgrade's most important philatelist in history". Evžen Hadamczik (28 October 1939 – 19 September 1984) was a Czechoslovakia, Czech Association football, football manager and former player. He was responsible for the Golden Era of Baník Ostrava football club, winning the Czechoslovak First League in 1980 and 1981 with them. Evzen Kolar (July 8, 1950 – July 11, 2017) was a Czech film producer. Born in Brno, he acted on film and television from an early age. Kolar moved to directing televised work and was also known for directing commercials. He was based in London before relocating to the United States in 1979. Kolar worked for Fireline Productions and Crossover Films Entertainment before starting his own company KPI Entertainment in 1993. He died in Los Angeles at the age of 67 in 2017. Evžen Korec (born 16 September 1956) is a Czech scientist, entrepreneur and businessman. He is the owner and CEO of real estate development company EKOSPOL and Tábor Zoo. He is the co-author of 11 patents and more than 20 research papers published in international scientific journals. Korec has also written six books. Evžen Plocek
Evžen Plocek (29 October 1929, Jihlava – 9 April 1969, Jihlava) was a Czech man (reform communist) who committed suicide, at age 39, by self-immolation as a political protest. He is usually named together with Jan Palach and Jan Zajíc whose self-immolations were similar political protests as Plocek's, but his death did not bring the same attention as the death of his predecessors. Death Evžen Plocek was a toolmaker by trade, but by 1968 had become deputy director of the car-parts company Motorpal and a candidate to the extraordinary meeting of the Czech Communist Party (see Prague Spring). On Good Friday, 4 April 1969, several months after the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968, Plocek set himself on fire in Míru Square (now called Masarykovo Square) in Jihlava in protest at what he saw as Soviet aggression. Evžen Rošický
Evžen Rošický (15 October 1914 Olomouc – 25 June 1942 Prague) was a Czechoslovak Sportsperson, athlete and journalist. Prague's Stadion Evžena Rošického is named after him. He just missed qualifying in the heats of the Athletics at the 1936 Summer Olympics – Men's 800 metres, 800 meters in the 1936 Olympics Games. During World War II, he and his father Jaroslav Rošický were part of the anti-Nazi resistance group ''Captain Nemo''. Evžen Rošický and his father were arrested on 18 June 1942, and one week later, on 25 June 1942, they were both executed at the Kobylisy shooting range in Prague, so he died at the young age of just 27 years. Evžen Tošenovský (born 26 February 1956) is a Czech Republic, Czech politician. He was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the 2009 European Parliament election in the Czech Republic, 2009 European Parliament election receiving the largest number of Ranked voting, preference votes.
