Eurogate Zürich
Eurogate Zurich – originally (), later (), and today known as () – is one of the urban developments on the southwest side of Zurich's Zürich Hauptbahnhof, Central Station (, or Zürich HB) in Switzerland. Located in the city's Langstrasse, District 4, near the city centre, was completed in 2020 and includes shops, restaurants, offices (e.g. Google), appartments, the college of education () and a hotel. is mostly pedestrianized and features two rows of Ginkgo biloba, Ginkgo trees. It also includes a fountain nicknamed 'Europuddle'. The site is connected to the urban developments north of the railway tracks via a pedestrian bridge () and the western underpass of Central Station. Sihl
The Sihl is a Switzerland, Swiss river that rises near the Druesberg mountain in the canton of Schwyz, and eventually flows into the Limmat in the centre of the Zürich, city of Zürich, after crossing the Zürich–Winterthur railway at . It has a length of , including the Sihlsee reservoir, through which the river flows. Water is abstracted from the river at the Sihlsee, leading to decreased downstream water flows and a consequent reduction in water quality. Luigi Snozzi
Luigi Snozzi (29 July 1932 – 29 December 2020) was a Swiss architect, born in Mendrisio, Ticino. He worked in Locarno and Lugano. Life He studied at the ETH Zurich, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. From 1962 to 1971, Snozzi worked in association with architect Livio Vacchini. From 1982 to 1984, he was a Visiting Professor and in 1985 he was appointed Professor of Architecture at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Snozzi was a professor of the University of Sassari, at the Faculty of Architecture of Alghero, Sardinia.
