Eura
Eura is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Satakunta region. The municipality has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The municipality of Kiukainen was consolidated with Eura on 1 January 2009. The municipality is one of the most distinguished places in Finland in terms of pre-historical findings. The archaeological findings are mainly from the Iron Age and include e.g. ancient dress "''Euran Emännän Puku''". Local tradition had it still in the 18th century that a decisive battle against invading Sweden was held in Eura's Big Meadow (''Iso Niitty'') in the Middle Ages. Satakunta (region)
Satakunta (in both Finnish and Swedish, ) is a region ( / ) of Finland, part of the former Western Finland Province. It borders the regions of Southwest Finland, Pirkanmaa, South Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. The capital city of the region is Pori. The name of the region literally means Hundred. The historical province of the same name was a larger area within Finland, covering modern Satakunta as well as much of Pirkanmaa. Darude
Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen (; born July 17, 1975), better known by his stage name Darude (), is a Finnish DJ and record producer from Eura, Satakunta. His music is characterised by its progressive/uplifting style. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum-selling hit single " Sandstorm" in late 1999. His debut studio album, '' Before the Storm'', was released on September 18, 2000 and sold 800,000 copies worldwide, earning Darude three Finnish Grammy Awards. It peaked at number one on Finland's Official List and number 6 on the ''Billboard'' Dance/Electronic Albums chart in the United States. Darude's second studio album, ''Rush'', reached number 11 on the ''Billboard'' dance chart in 2003 and number 4 on weekly album chart in Finland. Iron Age
The Iron Age is the final epoch of the three-age division of the prehistory and protohistory of humanity. It was preceded by the Stone Age (Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic) and the Bronze Age (Chalcolithic). Köppen Climate Classification
The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. Western Finland
Western Finland ( fi, Länsi-Suomen lääni, sv, Västra Finlands län) was a province of Finland from 1997 to 2009. It bordered the provinces of Oulu, Eastern Finland and Southern Finland. Kiukainen
Kiukainen ( sv, Kiukais) is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Eura on 1 January 2009. It is located in the Satakunta region. The municipality had a population of 3,408 (2003) and covered an area of 149.88 km² of which 0.22 km² is water. The population density was 22.7 inhabitants per km². In Kiukainen there are many ancient gravehills made from piled stones. Largest of them is called Kuninkaanhauta, "the king's grave", located in the Panelia village. Finnish Language
Finnish (endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland.
