Eugen Mihăescu
Eugen Mihăescu (born August 24, 1937 in Bucharest) is a Romanian painter, graphic designer and politician. He has been an honorary member of the Romanian Academy since September 8, 1993. The Romanian Academy ( ) is a cultural forum founded in Bucharest, Romania, in 1866. It covers the scientific, artistic and literary domains. Biography Early life and education Steven Heller was born July 7, 1950, in New York City to Bernice and Milton Heller. He attended the Walden School, a progressive prep school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, as well as military school. In 1968, he enrolled at New York University with a major in English, later transferring to the School of Visual Arts illustration and cartoon program but not graduating from either.
