''Etazhi'' (, ) is the second studio album by Belarusian post-punk band Molchat Doma, first released on 7 September 2018 through Detriti Records. Following the band's signing with Sacred Bones Records in January 2020, the album was released in North America for the first time on 27 March 2020. Composition The production of ''Etazhi'' has been described as lo-fi but slightly more clean and reminiscent of '80s music than the band's 2017 debut album, (''From Our Houses' Rooftops''). A drum machine, programmed by the band's guitarist and sound engineer Roman Komogortsev, is used throughout in place of a standard acoustic drummer. Molchat Doma (, ) is a Belarusian post-punk band from Minsk, formed in 2017. Its current lineup is Egor Shkutko (vocals), Roman Komogortsev (guitar, synthesizer, drum machine), and Pavel Kozlov (bass guitar, synthesizer). Its style has been called post-punk, New wave music, new wave, synth-pop, and Cold wave (music), cold wave. ''Monument'' () is the third studio album by Belarusian post-punk band Molchat Doma. It was released on 13 November 2020 through Sacred Bones Records, their first release with the label after signing with them in January 2020. It was recorded in their home town of Minsk in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the cancelation of their previously planned 2020 tour.
