Etan Cohen (; born March 14, 1974) is an Israeli-American screenwriter and film director who has written scripts for Hollywood movies, including '' Idiocracy'' (2006), '' Tropic Thunder'' (2008), '' Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa'' (2008), '' Men in Black 3'' (2012), and '' The Bad Guys'' (2022). Career Frankel got his start as a playwright, writing a number of plays including ''Create Fate'', ''The Fearless'', and ''Truth and Reconciliation'', which won the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2006 Weissberger Playwriting Award. Etan Mintz is an American rabbi, activist, writer, and the spiritual leader of the historic B'nai Israel Synagogue (Baltimore) of Baltimore, the oldest continually active synagogue in Maryland and one of the oldest standing synagogues in America. Mintz is an active proponent of Jewish inclusivity. He is a nationally sought speaker, writer, and educator. In response to the 2015 Baltimore protests after the shooting of Freddie Gray, Mintz led a multiracial, interfaith group of clergy to increase community cooperation in Baltimore. Rabbi Mintz has advocated for strengthening racial relations and has advocated for a more welcoming and inclusive vision of Modern Orthodox Judaism. Etan Kalil Patz (; October 9, 1972May 25, 1979) was a six-year-old American boy who disappeared on May 25, 1979, on his way to his school bus stop in the SoHo neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. His disappearance helped launch the missing children movement, which included new legislation and new methods for tracking down missing children. Several years after he disappeared, Patz was one of the first children to be profiled on the " photo on a milk carton" campaigns of the early 1980s. In 1983, President Ronald Reagan designated May 25—the anniversary of Etan's disappearance—as National Missing Children's Day in the United States.
