Estadio José Tomás Silva
The Estadio José Tomás Silva is a Association football, football stadium in Paraguay located in the Virgen del Huerto, Virgen del Huerto neighborhood of Asunción. The stadium has a capacity of 800 people and is home for Paraguayan Primera División, Primera División club Sportivo Ameliano. This venue is popularly known as ''La paila''. In its beginnings, the club had its first sports field on the property currently occupied by the ''Instituto de Medicina Tropical'', on Venezuela Avenue. In later years it had another playing field near España and Venezuela Avenue. In the 1970s, it moved to the current site where the current stadium was built. One of the main promoters being Mr. José Tomás Silva. In 2013, a modern gym was inaugurated on the club grounds. In December 2015, the stadium suffered some damage after a storm. References

A paila () is a type of cookware that in several Spanish-speaking South American countries refers to a large shallow metal pan or earthenware Bowl (vessel), bowl which oftentimes is also used as a serving Plate (dishware), plate for the foods prepared in it. Sportivo Ameliano
Club Sportivo Ameliano, also simply known as Ameliano, is a Paraguayan football club based in Virgen del Huerto neighborhood in the city of Asunción. The club competes in the Paraguayan Primera División for the 2022 season after their promotion at the end of the 2021 Paraguayan División Intermedia. The club was home to Alfredo Mazacotte who began his career in the youth teams of the club, and is actually the home of historic striker Marcos Caballero who played for the club from 2003–2021, the player was the leading goal scorer of the Primera División C of 2008 with 11 annotations along with Alberto Cristaldo of Deportivo Recoleta.
