Ceará (, ) is one of the 26 states of Brazil, located in the Northeast Region, Brazil, northeastern part of the country, on the Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic coast. ''Esperança'' is the seventh Portuguese-language album in the live praise and worship series of contemporary worship music by Diante do Trono. About the project In the pre-recording of the ''Esperança'', the mining group released the ''Quero Me Apaixonar'' album, recorded at the Campo de Marte Airport, in São Paulo. The group once again reaffirmed its intention to hold large gatherings of worshipers in their recordings when this brought, according to the Civil Police, an audience of about 1,200,000 people. Esperança Garcia
Esperança Garcia (born c. 1751) was an enslaved Afro-Brazilian and likely Creole woman in Brazil who is considered to have written the first earliest known slave petition in Brazil. On 6 September 1770, she sent a petition to free herself from slavery to the then-president of the province of São José do Piauí, Captaincy of Maranhão (now the current day state of Piauí), Gonçalo Pereira Botelho de Castro. In the petition, she denounced the abuse and maltreatment of her and her son by the overseer of Fazenda Algodões. Biography Early life Garcia was born on a plantation called Fazenda Algodões, owned by the Jesuits in what is now the town of Nazaré do Piauí. While there is no existing documentation of her birth or death date, she is believed to have been born at around 1751. She was also likely Creole. Esperança, the Portuguese word for hope, is a registered 501(c)(3) based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Founded in 1970 by Luke and Gerald Tupper. It currently operates programs in Mexico, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Peru, Mozambique and Phoenix, Arizona. History James Tupper, a recent graduate from the Medical College of Wisconsin, got his first look at medical deprivation and poverty in 1960 while traveling to Antarctica aboard a U.S. Navy ice-breaker. The ship docked in Brazil. It was here where James was struck by those suffering from treatable diseases. When his military service was completed, he entered the Franciscan Order. He chose the name Luke to reflect his dedication to serving those in need with his medical expertise.
