Erwin Durán
Erwin Manuel Durán Santander (born 17 October 1970) is a Chilean football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Rangers de Talca. Career Born in Concepción, Durán represented Naval de Talcahuano, Everton de Viña del Mar, Santiago Morning and San Luis de Quillota as a player. He retired with the latter in 1997, aged 27. After retiring, Durán worked as a coach in the football school of San Joaquín, before joining the youth sides of Magallanes in 2011, as a manager of the under-16 squad. In the following year, he led Naval's under-17 and under-19 teams, before being named manager of Fernández Vial on 20 December 2012. Durán won the 2013 Tercera A with Fernández Vial, before returning to Naval in February 2014, now as first team manager. The 2021 Primera B de Chile, also known as Campeonato Ascenso Betsson 2021 for sponsorship purposes, was the 67th season of the Primera B de Chile, Chile's second-tier football league. The season started on 3 April 2021. Coquimbo Unido were the champions, winning their fourth title in the competition as well as clinching promotion to Primera División with a 2–1 victory over Fernandez Vial on 13 November, the last matchday of the regular season. Jorge Luis Garcés Rojas (born 13 May 1954) is a Chilean football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is currently in charge of Juan Fernández Islands team for the 2024 Copa Chile. Manager Garcés was born in Talca. He started his managerial career in 1989 with RFC Arquennes. In 1992, he won the Primera B Championship with Provincial Osorno. Garcés joined Santiago Wanderers in 1999, getting promotion to First Division. In 2001, the team won the First Division championship, qualifying to the Copa Libertadores. Following the resignation of Pedro García, manager of Chile national football team in 2001, Garcés was hired by the ANFP to coach the Chilean team, getting two defeats (Brazil 2–0 Chile, Colombia 3–1 Chile) and a draw (Chile 0–0 Ecuador).
