Ernestina Cravello
Ernestina Cravello (1880–1942) was an Italian-American anarcha-feminist activist during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Biography Cravello was born in Northern Italy and emigrated to the United States with her family in 1895. To help support the family, she worked as a weaver in a factory in Paterson, New Jersey. She became politically active in her teens, joining her two older brothers, Antonio and Vittorio, in the anarchist movement. She was a member of Paterson's Right to Existence Group (). Together with Maria Roda and Ninfa Baronio, she co-founded Paterson's Women's Emancipation Group () in 1897. The group gave lectures, wrote for the anarchist press, and published pamphlets. They also formed the Club Femminile de Musica e di Canto (Women's Music and Song Club) and the Teatro Sociale (Social Theater). Clodoaldo de Oliveira (born March 19, 1974, in Ernestina, Rio Grande do Sul), known as Ernestina or Oliveira, is a Brazilian footballer. Biography Before he left for Hong Kong in August 2004, he played for Esportivo. He has played as a midfielder for the Hong Kong First Division club Happy Valley in the 2005-06 season. The free scoring left winger became the top scorer in all competition in his debut season in Hong Kong First Division in 2004-05. But he was denied the chance to compete for the Footballer of the Year award when his club failed to nominate him. The following season saw him continued his scoring form and help his team to the league title, even though for the large part he had been playing out of position. Ernestina Edem Appiah (born c 1977) is a Ghanaian social entrepreneur. She founded the Ghana Code Club as an after-school program to teach children how to write computer programs. In 2015, she was named to the "100 Women (BBC), BBC 100 Most Inspirational Women" list for her work to promote computing in Ghana. Biography Appiah's passion for computing began when she was employed as a secretary for a local information technology company. Inspired by the work of her colleagues, but earning less than 10% of their salary as a secretary, she learned how to code in HTML on her own, teaching herself to build websites. Titina Silá
Ernestina "Titina" Silá (1 April 1943 – 30 January 1973) was a Bissau-Guinean revolutionary. Recruited into the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC), while she was a young woman, she joined in the Guinea-Bissau War of Independence against the Portuguese Empire. As one of the first women in the PAIGC, she quickly became a popular leading figure in the revolutionary movement and was often praised by its leader, Amílcar Cabral. After being trained in nursing in the Soviet Union, she took a commanding role in the Northern Front of the war, rising to the rank of political commissar and joining the Superior Council of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of the People (FARP). While on her way to attend Cabral's funeral, in January 1973, she was ambushed and killed by the Portuguese. Santa Ernestina is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 5,588 (2020 est.) in an area of 134 km2. The elevation is 570 m. The localities amalgamated were: Camoola, Chorregon, Ernestina, Maneroo, Morella, Queensland, Morella, Tocal, Queensland, Tocal, and Vergemont, Queensland, Vergemont.
