Erkki Hartikainen
__NOTOC__ Erkki Juhani Hartikainen (24 June 1942, in Finland – 11 July 2021) was the chairman of ''Atheist Association of Finland'' ("Suomen Ateistiyhdistys" in Finnish, an atheistic association in Finland). He qualified for a Master of Science in the University of Helsinki in 1967. His subjects were mathematics, theoretical philosophy and computer science. Hartikainen has been the chairman of Atheist Association of Finland since 1985. Hartikainen has served as the actuary since the late 1960s, for nearly 20 years as a teacher of mathematics and science in schools, and after that, since 1989, as teacher of information technology at a college in Vantaa. From 1994–1998, he worked as a statistician in Vantaa. Hartikainen retired in 2005. Erkki Kourula
Erkki Antero Kourula (born 12 June 1948) is a Finnish judge who served on the International Criminal Court (ICC). Kourula was elected for an initial term of three years in the first election of 2003, then reelected in 2006 for nine more years. He was chosen from List B, a list of judges with specific experience and knowledge of international law, worked in the appeals division and was the first Finn elected to the court. Kourula holds a degree in law from the University of Helsinki and a doctorate in international law from the University of Oxford. In 1979, he was appointed as a judge of first instance in Finland. Between 1982 and 1983, he was a professor of international law at the University of Lapland. He later worked in various roles within the Finnish government, including director-general of legal affairs in the Ministry of Legal Affairs. Erkki Karu
Erkki Karu (born Erland Fredrik Kumlander) (10 April 1887 – 8 December 1935) was a Finnish film director, screenwriter and producer. He was one of the pioneers of the Finnish cinema. Career Karu was born and died in Helsinki. He started his career as a member of a theater troupe in 1907. Martti Erik (Erkki) Ala-Könni (2 February 1911, Ilmajoki – 2 September 1996, Tampere) was a Finnish university professor, ethnomusicologist, researcher, and recorder of Finnish folklore. He received a doctorate degree in folk music in 1956 from the University of Helsinki with a dissertation ''Die Polska-Tänze in Finnland'' and directed the Department of Folk Tradition (currently the Department of Music Anthropology) of the University of Tampere in 1965–1976. Erkki Ala-Könni accumulated a significant collection of traditional Finnish musical instruments, folk music, and hymns, and took more than 100,000 folklore-related photograph slides and negatives. Together with Martti Pokela he contributed to the revival of the Finnish traditional musical instrument kantele when folk music began its resurgence in the 1960s. Erkki Hautamäki (28 August 1930 – 5 September 2023) was a Finnish councillor of education ("opetusneuvos"), a Major in the Finnish Defense Forces reserves, historian and a researcher of the history of the Finnish Wars during World War II and the Soviet war plans related to World War II. He competed in the men's decathlon at the 1952 Summer Olympics. Career In the 1960s, Hautamäki served in a special task force at the Main Headquarters of the Finnish Defense Forces.
