Erin O’Toole
Erin Michael O'Toole (born January 22, 1973) is a Canadian lawyer, former military officer and politician who was the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and the Leader of the Official Opposition (Canada), leader of the Official Opposition from 2020 to 2022. O'Toole was elected as a Member of Parliament (Canada), member of Parliament (MP) in 2012, representing Durham (electoral district), Durham until 2023. O'Toole served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 12 years, before becoming a lawyer and entering politics. Born in Montreal, O'Toole grew up in Port Perry and Bowmanville in Ontario. Bowmanville is a community of approximately 40,000 people located in the Municipality of Clarington, Durham Region, Ontario, Canada. It is approximately east of Toronto, and east of Oshawa along Highway 2. Bowmanville was first incorporated as a town in 1858, but later incorporated with the neighbouring townships of Clarke and Darlington in 1974 forming the Town of Newcastle, which was renamed in 1994 to the Municipality of Clarington. 423 Maritime Helicopter Squadron (French: ) is a unit of the Canadian Forces under Royal Canadian Air Force. It currently operates the Sikorsky CH-148 Cyclone from CFB Shearwater in Nova Scotia, Canada. History No. 423 Squadron RCAF was a World War II unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The Canadian Forces' Decoration (post-nominal letters "CD") is a Canadian award bestowed upon members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have completed twelve years of military service, with certain conditions.
