Erik Källgren
Erik Källgren ( ; ; born 14 October 1996) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender for Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Källgren was drafted in the seventh round, 183rd overall, of the 2015 NHL entry draft by the Arizona Coyotes, and made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut in 2022 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Playing career In the 2020–21 season, Källgren appeared in 21 regular season games for the Växjö Lakers collecting 12 wins with a 2.37 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. In 10 postseason games, Källgren posted a 7–3–0 record with a .937 save percentage, capturing the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) championship. As a free agent following his break-out year, Källgren initially joined fellow SHL outfit, Frölunda HC, on a two-year deal on 17 May 2021. IK Oskarshamn
Ishockeyklubben Oskarshamn, commonly known as IK Oskarshamn, is an ice hockey club from Oskarshamn in Sweden. The team plays in the second-highest league, the HockeyAllsvenskan. The 2019–20 season was the team's first season in the top-tier league, the Swedish Hockey League. History IK Oskarshamn (abbreviated as IKO) was founded on 27 May 1970, when the ice hockey sections of Oskarshamns AIK and IFK Oskarshamn, were merged into one club. 2014–15 HockeyAllsvenskan Season
The 2014–15 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the tenth season of the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden under that name. The league featured 14 teams, including Stockholm-based AIK IF, AIK, who were relegated from the Swedish Hockey League, SHL following four seasons in the top league. Also joining HockeyAllsvenskan was HC Vita Hästen, which marked the return of elite-level hockey to Norrköping. A IF Vita Hästen, previous Vita Hästen club had played in Sweden's second-tier league until the 1995–96 Division 1 season (Swedish ice hockey), 1995–96 season, but following that club's bankruptcy in 1996, the new Vita Hästen club rebuilt from the bottom of the league system, culminating in their promotion back to the second tier in the 2013–14 HockeyAllsvenskan season#2014 Kvalserien to HockeyAllsvenskan, 2014 HockeyAllsvenskan qualifiers. Save Percentage
Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various Goal (sports), goal-scoring sports that track Save (goaltender), saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse and association football, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shot on goal (ice hockey), shots on goal a goaltender stops. It is calculated by dividing the number of saves by the total number of shots on goal. Although the statistic is a percentage, it is often given as a decimal in North America, in the same way as a batting average (baseball), batting average in baseball. Thus, .933 means a goaltender saved 93.3 percent of all shots they faced. Goals Against Average
Goals against average (GAA), also known as average goals against (AGA), is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time. It is calculated by taking the number of goals against, multiplying that by 60 (minutes) and then dividing by the number of minutes played. The modification has been used by the National Hockey League (NHL) since 1965 and by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since 1990. Utica Comets
The Utica Comets are a professional ice hockey team based in Utica, New York. They are members of the North Division in the Eastern Conference of the American Hockey League (AHL) and affiliated with the National Hockey League's (NHL) New Jersey Devils.
