Eric LeGrand
Eric J. LeGrand (born September 4, 1990), more commonly known as “Wheelchair Eric,” is an American former football defensive tackle who played college football for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He became paralyzed while making a tackle in an October 2010 game, but has since regained movement in his shoulders and sensation throughout his body. As of 2020, LeGrand has been making consistent recovery at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to a symbolic contract as an undrafted free agent in May 2012. In 2017, LeGrand was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the third recipient of thWarrior Award College In 2008, as a true freshman, LeGrand made his collegiate debut against the North Carolina Tar Heels on September 11. The 2010 Army Black Knights football team represented the United States Military Academy as an independent in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Black Knights, led by second-year head coach Rich Ellerson played their home games at the Michie Stadium. 2010 FIU Panthers Football Team
The 2010 FIU Panthers football team represented Florida International University during the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Mario Cristobal and played their homes games at the on-campus FIU Stadium in Miami. On November 27, 2010, the FIU Panthers won a share of their first ever Sun Belt Conference championship and became eligible to compete in a post-season bowl game for the first time in school history.
