Marmaray
Marmaray () is a commuter rail line located in Istanbul, Turkey. The line runs from Halkalı, on the European side, to Gebze, on the Asian side, along the north shore of the Sea of Marmara. Mostly using the right-of-way of two existing commuter rail lines, the Marmaray line linked the two lines via a tunnel under the Bosporus strait, becoming the first standard gauge rail connection between Europe and Asia (all prior connections ran through Russia and used the incompatible Russian broad gauge). The two existing sections of the line were rebuilt and expanded from two tracks to three tracks, to allow for higher capacity with intercity and freight rail. Bostancı () is a neighborhood in the municipality and district of Kadıköy, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Description Bostancı is on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, on the shore of the Sea of Marmara. Üsküdar
Üsküdar () is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 35 km2, and its population is 524,452 (2022). It is a large and densely populated district on the Anatolian (Asian) shore of the Bosphorus. Mecidiyeköy
Mecidiyeköy ( is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Şişli, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 20,006 (2022). It is a heavily built-up residential and business neighbourhood, squeezed in between the Fulya, Kuştepe, Gültepe, Esentepe, and Gülbahar neighbourhoods. Mecidiyeköy means "Mecid's Village" in Turkish, a name it acquired because it was during the reign of the Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid I that it started to be settled. Attractions Mecidiyeöy barely features on the sightseeing radar although there are a couple of things to attract the curious, most obviously the Abide-i Hürriyet (Liberty Monument) isolated amid the traffic chaos where Halaskargazi Street meets the D100 flyover. Suadiye, Kadıköy
Suadiye is a neighborhood in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, Turkey with a population of 26,428 (2023). It is known for its European-esque restaurants and cafes and location near the coast and luxurious lifestyle. Caddebostan is a neighbourhood in the Kadıköy district inside the city of Istanbul, Turkey. It has a population of 20,170 (2023).
