Equal Pay Day is the list of minor secular observances#April, symbolic day dedicated to raising awareness of the gender pay gap. In the United States, this date symbolizes how far into the year the median woman must work (in addition to their earnings last year) in order to have earned what the median man had earned the entire previous year. The exact day differs year by year. In 2022, it was March 15. On average, women earn $0.82 for every dollar men earned in 2019.
