Epitáfio
"Epitáfio" is the fifteenth single by Titãs, released in 2002. It was included in the soundtrack of telenovela ''Desejos de Mulher''. As a B-side, the single featured an acoustic version of the song. Unlike the whole band, producer Jack Endino believed it could be a hit and was eventually proven right. The music video, featuring archive footage of the Titãs in their daily lives, won three awards at the MTV Brasil, MTV MTV Video Music Brasil, Video Music Brasil, including Viewer's Choice and Video of the Year. In December 2014, by request of TV program Fantástico, the band recorded a new version of the track with verses suggested by the program's spectators. Each suggestion described something the person felt they should have done less in 2014 or that they intend to do more in 2015, keeping the original logic of the single. A Melhor Banda De Todos Os Tempos Da Última Semana
''A Melhor Banda de Todos os Tempos da Última Semana'' (''Last Week's Best Band Ever'') is the eleventh studio album released by Brazilian rock band Titãs. It is the first album composed entirely of new material since 1995's '' Domingo''; the first (and only) released via Abril Music following the end of the partnership they had with WEA since the band's debut; the first without founding member and guitarist Marcelo Fromer, who died just before the recording sessions (and to whom the album is dedicated); the last featuring founding member, vocalist and bassist Nando Reis, who would leave the band after the album's release to focus on his solo career, and the last produced by Jack Endino. Fromer's death almost prompted the remaining members to postpone the album's recording and even made them consider ending the band, but the then sextet decided to carry on, deducing it would be what the guitarist wanted if alive. While the album's title criticizes "superficial" lists compiled b ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

MTV Video Music Brasil
The MTV Video Music Brasil awards (originally Video Music Awards Brasil and more commonly known as VMB), were MTV Brasil's annual award ceremony, established in 1995. MTV viewers picked the winners for most categories since 2001. Unlike in the MTV Video Music Awards, the most important category at the MTV Video Music Brazil was the Viewer's Choice, not the Video of the Year; both of these categories merged in 2005. In 2007, the awards have faced a major rebranding, with several categories extinguished (most notably the specific genre divisions) and even the trophies' design changed. From that year, the awards began to focus more on artists rather than music videos and the most important category became the Artist of the Year. However, the Video of the Year award continued to exist. For the first time, the former MTV did not hold the 2013 VMB, due to the high price of the prize pool and the delivery of the station's brand to Viacom. In 2014, the pay TV version of MTV Brazil con ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
