Enver Čolaković
Enver Čolaković (27 May 1913 – 18 August 1976) was a Bosnian writer, journalist and translator, best known for his 1944 novel ''The Legend of Ali Pasha''. During the later stages of World War II, he served as a cultural attaché to the Independent State of Croatia embassy in Budapest. After the war, he spent the rest of his life in Zagreb, where he published several literary translations from Hungarian and German. Biography Born in Budapest in 1913 to Bosnian Muslim father Vejsil-'' beg'' Čolaković and Hungarian mother Ilona (née Mednyanszki), Čolaković spent his childhood traveling around the region, and after World War I he settled in Sarajevo. Enver Hoxhaj (born 4 October 1969) is a Kosovar politician. He served as minister for foreign affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and a former leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. Career Hoxhaj served as a professor at the University of Pristina. He worked at WUS Austria and founded Kosovar Research and Documentation Institute. In March 2004 he joined the Democratic Party of Kosovo. He was minister of education, science and technology of the Republic of Kosovo. The People's Socialist Republic of Albania, () was the Marxist-Leninist state that existed in Albania from 10 January 1946 to the 29 April 1991. Enver Hasani was the president of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo . Biography Hasani was born in Mitrovica, Kosovo. He completed his elementary and middle school programs in Mitrovica, while his law studies were completed at the University of Pristina, Kosovo, where he achieved outstanding results among his peers. Enver Hadžihasanović (7 July 1950 – 16 December 2024) was a Bosnian chief of staff of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a convicted war criminal. Biography Hadžihasanović was born in 1950 in Zvornik, at the time part of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. Military career Hadžihasanović graduated from the military academy in Belgrade in 1973. He then was transferred to the military stations in Tuzla and Sarajevo. As captain first class he led the command in the military academy in Belgrade. After that school closed, he was given the rank of major and commanded the battalion of the military police of the 7th Army in 1988. Enver Hadžiabdić (born 6 November 1945) is a Bosnian former football manager and player, best known for playing for and later managing Željezničar. Hadžiabdić is the only person in Željezničar history to have won league titles both as a player and as a manager. As a player he won the Yugoslav First League with Željezničar in 1972, while as a manager the Bosnian First League in 1998. Club career Hadžiabdić started playing football in the youth teams of Iskra Bugojno and Bratstvo Travnik, before signing his first professional contract with Željezničar in 1965. Enver Hadri
Enver Hadri (1941 – 25 February 1990) was a Kosovo Albanian human rights activist. According to an Albanian blog AACL, he was assassinated while he stopped at a traffic light in Brussels, by three Yugoslavs working for State Security Administration (UDBA) according to the verdict handed down on Mardi, Veselin Vukotic and Andrija Draskovic were found guilty of carrying out the crime and Bozidar Spacic of ordering it. This happened in the commune of Saint-Gilles, Belgium, Saint-Gilles, at the crossroads between the rue St Bernard and the rue de la Victoire. Hadri had with him the list of 32 Albanians killed in Kosovo by Serbia, which he would submit to the European Parliament's Human Rights Committee the next day. Enver Galim
Enver Galim (March 15, 1915, Kazan, Russian Empire – March 2, 1988, New York, US), Tatar writer and journalist, was one of the translators of the Bible into the Tatar language. After graduating from the Institute of the Tatar Language and Literature in 1938, Enver Galim worked as a school teacher and a journalist. He was drafted into the Red Army in 1941 and sent to the front to fight against Nazi Germany. A year later, he was severely wounded and captured by German soldiers. After spending a few months in the POW camp, Enver Galim was released. Fearing repression in Stalin's USSR, he decided to stay in Germany. To avoid deportation, he applied for Turkish citizenship and, after receiving it, changed his name to Enver Galimoglu.
