Enn Säde (born 18 October 1938 in Pärnu) is an Estonian film sound designer and film director. In 1961 he graduated from Leningrad Institute of Film Engineers ( ). Since 1961 he worked at Tallinnfilm. Since 1993 he is a freelance sound designer. Awards: * 1990: nominated to Nika Award * 2001: Order of the White Star, V class. Pärnu () is the fourth-largest city in Estonia. Situated in southwest Estonia, Pärnu is located south of the Estonian capital, Tallinn, and west of Estonia's second-largest city, Tartu. Tallinnfilm () is the oldest surviving film studio in Estonia. It was founded as Estonian Culture Film in 1931, and was nationalized in 1940 after Estonia was integrated into the Soviet Union. During the first year of Soviet occcupation (1940–1941) ''Eesti Kultuurfilm'' was taken over by the Communist Party and renamed ''Kinokroonika Eesti Stuudio'' (the Estonian Newsreel Studio). In 1942 during the German occupation the studio was renamed ''Kinokroonika Tallinna Stuudio'' (the Tallinn Newsreel Studio) and then renamed again as ''Tallinna Kinostuudio'' (the Tallinn Film Studio) in 1947 by the Soviets. The Tallinn Film Studio was renamed ''Kunstiliste ja Kroonikafilmide Tallinna Kinostuudio'' (Tallinn Feature and Newsreel Film Studio) in 1954 and in 1963 was renamed again Tallinnfilm. Nika Award
The Nika Award (sometimes styled NIKA Award) is the main annual national film award in Russia, presented by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science, and seen as the national equivalent of the Oscars. In 2022 nominees were announced, but the Award ceremony was postponed and, eventially, cancelled. The Award ceremony was also cancelled in 2023.
