Engøy Bridge
Engøy is an island in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the "neighborhood" of Buøy in the borough Hundvåg in the city of Stavanger, just north of the city centre. The island is almost completely urbanized with many houses on the east side and a lot of industry on the west side. There were 461 residents on the island in 2014. The island is connected to mainland of Stavanger via the Engøy Bridge, which connects Engøy to the islands Sølyst and Grasholmen, and by the Stavanger City Bridge which connects Sølyst and Grasholmen to the mainland. Engøy was historically part of Hetland municipality until 1 January 1879 when it was transferred to the city of Stavanger. Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. Buøy
Buøy is an island in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Hundvåg, Stavanger, Hundvåg in the Stavanger (city), city of Stavanger. The island was formerly separated from the island of Hundvåg (island), Hundvåg by a small channel of water, but that was filled in. Hundvåg is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The borough includes a number of islands lying to the north of the main city centre of Stavanger. It includes the islands of Hundvåg, Sølyst, Grasholmen, Engøy, Buøy, Bjørnøy, Roaldsøy, and Ormøy. Sølyst is an island in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island is located in the Buøy neighborhood in the borough of Hundvåg, just north of the centre of the city of Stavanger. Stavanger City Bridge
Stavanger City Bridge ( or just ''Bybrua'') is a cable-stayed bridge in the Stavanger (city), city of Stavanger which is in the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The bridge has one tower and it was one of the first larger cable-stayed bridges in Norway when it opened on 31 January 1978. Hetland
Hetland is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 1965 when it was dissolved. The municipality included the Stavanger Peninsula and the land surrounding both sides of the Gandsfjorden, but not the area around the head of the fjord. It originally encompassed the land surrounding the city of Stavanger in the present-day municipalities of Randaberg and Stavanger (except the city of Stavanger) and part of the municipality of Sandnes. The main church for Hetland was Hetland Church (now named "Frue Church"). Upon its dissolution in 1965, the municipality had 24,173 residents.
