Enevold Steenblock Høyum
Enevold Steenblock Høyum (15 May 1775 – 24 January 1830) was a Norwegian military officer who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. He was born at Sauherad in Telemark, Norway. He was the oldest of six siblings. The family moved to Haug gård in Sauherad during his youth. He entered military service and in 1794 became Second Lieutenant in Telemark Infantry Regiment (''Tellemarkske Infanterie Regiment''). He advanced through the ranks became Captain in 1809. Together with Commander Gullik Madsen Røed, he represented Telemark Infantry Regiment at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. They both voted with the independence party (''Selvstendighetspartiet''). In 1810, he married Edel Maria Thornson with whom he was the father of six children. Sauherad
Sauherad is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It was part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Midt-Telemark. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020. The area is now part of Midt-Telemark Municipality and Notodden Municipality. The administrative centre was the village of Akkerhaugen. Other villages in the municipality included Gvarv, Holtsås, Hjukse, Hjuksebø, Nordagutu, and Sauherad (village), Sauherad. Sauherad bordered the municipalities of Kongsberg, Skien, Nome, Norway, Nome, Bø, Telemark, Bø, and Notodden. Telemark
Telemark () is a Counties of Norway, county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. In 2020, Telemark merged with the county of Vestfold to form the county of Vestfold og Telemark. On 1 January 2024, the county of Telemark was re-established after Vestfold og Telemark was divided again. Gullik Madsen Røed
Gullik Madsen Røed (17 February 1786 – 9 August 1857) was a Norwegian soldier and farmer. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly during 1814. Gullik Madsen Røed was born at the farm Rød in Botne at Holmestrand in Vestfold, Norway where his father was a farmer. Around 1812, he took over the farm Bo in Sande in Vestfold. He was also commander in the Sandeske Company of Telemark Infantry Regiment ('' Telemarkske infanteriregiment''). He represented Telemark Regiment at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. There he joined the independence party (''Selvstendighetspartiet''). Eidsvoll (; sometimes written as ''Eidsvold'') is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus Counties of Norway, county, Norway. Holla, Telemark
Holla is a former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The area is now part of Nome Municipality. The administrative centre was the village of Ulefoss. The municipality was considered part of the traditional district of Grenland, but in 1964 it became been part of the new Nome municipality which has been considered to be part of the Midt-Telemark district.
