''En même temps'' is a 2022 French comedy film produced, written, and directed by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern. It is the tenth film directed by the duo together and was considered a commercial failure. Synopsis The mayors of two small French towns, from opposing political sides, are glued together by a feminist activist. Benoît Delépine (; born 30 August 1958) is a French comedian and film director. He is known for his satirical activities on TV channel Canal+. Director of the TV program '' Guignols de l'info'' for many years, he currently writes TV programs about the fictional country of Groland. He also plays the cynical journalist-reporter Mickael Kael. In the cinema, Delépine has written and performed in two films. '' Michael Kael contre la World News Company'', a chess commercial, reprising two elements of the fictional career of the director: his role as a reporter for Groland and the World Company, which he contributed to create for '' Les Guignols''. 2022 French Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in France on 10 and 24 April 2022. As no candidate won a majority in the first round, a Two-round system, runoff was held, in which Emmanuel Macron defeated Marine Le Pen and was re-elected as President of France. Macron, from La République En Marche! (LREM), had defeated Le Pen, leader of the National Rally, once already in the 2017 French presidential election, for the term which expired on 13 May 2022. Macron became the first president of France to win a re-election bid since Jacques Chirac won in 2002 French presidential election, 2002.
