En Busca De Un Ídolo 2013
The 2013 ''En Busca de un Ídolo'' (Spanish for "In search of an idol") was a professional wrestling tournament held by Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). CMLL held their second annual ''En Busca de un Ídolo'' tournament in 2013, from May 17 until July 21, 2013 with all matches taking place in CMLL's main building, Arena México. Unlike the 2012 tournament where most of the participants were rookies, most of the 2013 ''En Busca de un Ídolo'' had been active wrestlers longer than most of the 2012 contestants, shifting the focus from "youth" to where wrestlers generally work on CMLL shows. None of the 2012 participants were included in the 2013 tournament. The "Theme" of the 2013 show was "''Ahora o Nunca!''" ("Now or Never"). José Gutiérrez Hernández (born March 1, 1972), better known by his ring name Último Guerrero (Spanish for ''Last Warrior''), is a Mexican (or Professional wrestling, professional wrestler), who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). William Arturo Muñoz González (born September 29, 1988), better known by his ring name Rush ( ). is a Mexican '' luchador'' (Spanish for professional wrestler). He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is the leader of ''La Facción Ingobernable'' and a former member of The Don Callis Family. He is best known for his time performing for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as well as the U.S. based Ring of Honor (ROH). Arturo García Ortiz (born July 19, 1974) is a Mexican ''luchador'' or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Rey Bucanero. Ortiz, as Rey Bucanero, has worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since 1996. His ring name is Spanish for "Buccaneer King", which was originally reflected in his mask that featured a skull face and an eye patch. Ortiz was unmasked in 1999 and has worked unmasked ever since. José Luis Alvarado Nieves (March 19, 1963 – July 26, 2021) was a Mexican '' luchador'' best known under the ring name Brazo de Plata, a name he had used since his debut in 1977. Antonio Salazar Gómez, (born January 15, 1949) is a retired Mexican '' luchador'', or professional wrestler, who works as the ring announcer for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre's (CMLL) Sunday shows in ''Arena Coliseo''. He is best known under the ring name Tony Salazar, although he has also competed as Señor Tormenta, El Nene and the masked Ulises during his wrestling career.
