Emília Márkus
Emília Márkus, (married name Pulszky; September 10, 1860 – December 24, 1949), was a Hungarian aristocrat, politician and the most renowned actress of her time in Hungary, known for her roles in a number of Hungarian theatrical and film productions, including ''Three Spinsters'' (1936), ''A táncz'' (1901) and ''Az aranyhajú szfinksz'' (1914). Biography Emília Márkus was born in Szombathely, Hungary as the sixth child of József Márkus and Anna Horvát (sister of Boldizsár Horvát). One of her brothers was József Márkus, the Mayor (1896–1897) then Lord Mayor of Budapest (1897–1906). In 1878 she graduated from the Actor's Academy and was immediately contracted by the National Theatre, where she was engaged until her death in 1949. Paul Scofield
David Paul Scofield (21 January 1922 – 19 March 2008) was an English actor. During a six-decade career, Scofield achieved the Triple Crown of Acting, winning an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Tony Award for his work. Scofield established a reputation as one of the greatest Shakespearean performers. He declined the honour of a knighthood, but was appointed CBE in 1956 and became a CH in 2001. Sir Derek George Jacobi (; born 22 October 1938) is an English actor. Known for his roles on stage and screen as well as for his work at the Royal National Theatre, he has received numerous accolades including a Tony Award, a BAFTA Award, two Laurence Olivier Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards. ''The Diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky'' is a 2001 Australian film written, shot, directed and edited by Paul Cox about Vaslav Nijinsky, based on the premier danseur's published diaries. Cox had the idea of making a film about Nijinsky for over 30 years ever since he heard Paul Scofield read extracts from Nijinksky's diaries on the radio. George De La Peña
George de la Peña (born December 9, 1955) is an American ballet dancer, musical theatre performer, choreographer, actor, and teacher. He was born in 1955 in New York City, New York. Originally trained as a concert pianist, de la Peña switched to ballet while studying at the High School for the Performing Arts in New York City. He graduated from George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet. He joined American Ballet Theatre in the 1970s, rapidly rising to soloist.
