Errenteria
Errenteria (, ) is a town located in the province of Gipuzkoa in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Autonomous Community, in the north of Spain, near the French border. The river Oiartzun (river), Oiartzun cuts its way through the town, one that has undergone severe pollution up to recent times on its lower stage. History The town was founded in 1320, during the reign of Alfonso XI of Castile, with the name of ''Villanueva de Oiarso'' or ''Oyarço''. Peugeot team was a French professional cycling team that promoted and rode Peugeot racing bikes. It is listed as the most successful cycling team of all time on cyclingranking.com, with a large margin on the second placed team, Alcyon. History Peugeot cycles started producing bicycles in 1882, and from then on it was involved in sponsoring cyclists. At the beginning of the century a Peugeot cycling team existed. 1936 Vuelta A España
The 1936 Vuelta a España was the 2nd Vuelta a España.This cycling race took place from 5 May to 31 May 1936. The race was composed of 21 stages over and was ridden at an average of . The second edition of the Vuelta began under a volatile political and social situation and several weeks after the race was over, Spain was plunged into its civil war. The race was anticipated to see a battle between the previous winner Belgian Gustaaf Deloor and the second-place finisher of 1935 Spaniard Mariano Canardo. However a crash during the early stages of the race ruled Canardo out of the runnings. While Deloor led the race from the second stage to the finish, his brother Alfons climbed up the classification and when second placed Spaniard Antonio Escuriet suffered exhaustion on the penultimate day, Alfons rode himself into the second place overall. Volta A La Comunitat Valenciana
The Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana (; or Tour of Valencia) is a road cycling stage race held in the Valencian Community (''Comunitat Valenciana''), Spain. Its position in the cycling calendar means it is often used as preparation for the spring classics or the Grand Tours which take place later in the season. No editions of the race were held between 2008 and 2015 because of funding issues. A first attempt to revive it for the 2010–11 UCI Europe Tour was unsuccessful.
