Emerson High School (Union City, New Jersey)
Emerson High School was a public high school located in Union City, in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Union City Board of Education. The school was originally one of two high schools in Union City, along with Union Hill High School, that served the city's students. With the merger of both schools into the new Union City High School in 2008 and the opening of that school's new campus in 2009, both of the former high schools were converted to serve sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. The former Emerson High School is now Emerson Middle School. History Emerson High School was originally the sole high school to serve the municipality of West Hoboken, New Jersey. Union City School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Union City, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. David Wildstein
David Wildstein (born September 1961) is an American businessman, former Republican Party politician, and the founder and editor-in-chief of the New Jersey political news website ''New Jersey Globe''. A former mayor of Livingston, New Jersey, he served as a senior official in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey during the administration of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie until 2013, when Wildstein resigned in the midst of a scandal involving traffic lanes closures. Roosevelt Stadium was an American outdoor sports facility located in Union City, New Jersey. The stadium was built in 1936 and demolished in 2005 so Union City High School could be built on the site. After the school was built, its athletic complex was also named Roosevelt Stadium; the current field is located atop the school.
