Emanuele Foà (16 August 1892 – 9 October 1949) was an Italian engineer and Engineering physics, engineering physicist, known for his contribution to Fluid dynamics, mathematical fluid dynamics. In particular he proved the first known uniqueness theorem for the solutions to the Dimension (mathematics), three-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations for incompressible fluids in bounded set, bounded Domain (mathematical analysis), domains. Savigliano
Savigliano () is a of Piedmont, Northern Italy, in the Province of Cuneo, about south of Turin by rail. It is home to ironworks, foundries, locomotive works (once owned by Fiat Ferroviaria, now by Alstom) and silk manufactures, as well as sugar factories, printing works and cocoon-raising establishments.
