Elías Már Ómarsson
Elías Már Ómarsson (born 18 January 1995) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a forward for Dutch club NAC Breda and the Iceland national team. Club career Elías Már started his career with local club Keflavík in 2012. He signed a three-year contract with Vålerenga on 5 February 2015. In 2016 he went out on loan to Swedish club IFK Göteborg for the second half of the season. He had a clause in the loan contract enabling IFK to buy Ómarsson for a set fee after the loan ended which IFK chose to use. He moved to the Eredivisie club Excelsior Rotterdam in August 2018. On 18 January 2023, Elías Már agreed to return to the Netherlands on a one-and-a-half-year contract with NAC Breda. International career Elías Már holds Icelandic and Norwegian nationalities. The club was founded on 12 April 1937 and currently plays in the Championnat National, the third tier of French football. The Stade des Antonins is the club's home stadium. The 2012 Úrvalsdeild (also known as the "Pepsi-deild" for sponsorship reasons) is the 101st season of top-tier football in Iceland. The season began on 6 May 2012 and concluded 29 September 2012. The league was won by FH, the club's sixth Icelandic league title, while defending champions KR finished as runners-up, some 13 points behind FH. The 2019–20 Eerste Divisie, known as Keuken Kampioen Divisie for sponsorship reasons, was the sixty-fourth season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2019 with the first matches of the season and was scheduled to end in May 2020 with the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th-placed team from the 2019–20 Eredivisie. The 2018–19 Eredivisie was the 63rd season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 10 August 2018 and concluded on 15 May 2019; the Europa League and relegation play-offs will take place later that month. PSV were the defending champions. Allsvenskan (; ), also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan (, ) is a professional association football league in Sweden and the highest level of the Swedish football league system. Founded in 1924, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan, the second highest league in the Swedish football, Swedish men's football league system. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings.
