Elinborg Lützen
Elinborg Lützen (26 July 1919 – 22 November 1995) was a Faroese graphic designer. Born in Klaksvik, Faroe Islands, Lützen trained at the Design School for Women ( Tegne- og Kunstindustriskolen for Kvinder) in Copenhagen and studied under the graphic artist Povl Christensen. Lützen was best known for her black and white woodcut and linocut prints in which she portrayed Faroese nature and magical motifs. She showed her work at group exhibitions in Copenhagen, Reykjavík and Bergen and in 1980 participated in a traveling exhibition of Faroese artists presented in Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Scotland, and Finland. She also illustrated Faroese fairy tales and created designs for several stamps. Lützen was married to, and later divorced, the Faroese painter Sámal Joensen-Mikines. She died in Tórshavn in 1995. Klaksvík
Klaksvík () is the second largest town of the Faroe Islands behind Tórshavn. The town is located on Borðoy, which is one of the northernmost islands (the Norðoyar). It is the administrative centre of Klaksvík municipality. History The first settlement at Klaksvík dates back to Viking times, but it was not until the 20th century that the district merged to form a large, modern Faroese town that became a cultural and commercial centre for the Northern Isles and the Faroe Islands as a whole. Klaksvík is located between two inlets lying back to back. It has an important harbour with fishing industry and a modern fishing fleet. Originally, four farms were located where Klaksvík is now. In time, they grew into four villages: Vágur, Myrkjanoyri, Gerðar and Uppsalir; which finally merged to form the town of Klaksvík in 1938. Sámal Joensen-Mikines
Sámuel Joensen-Mikines (1906–1979) was a Faroese painter. He was the first recognised painter of the Faroe Islands and one of the Faroe Islands' most important artists. Many of his paintings have been displayed on Faroese stamps. Vejle Museum Of Art
Vejle Museum of Art () in the town centre of Vejle in southeastern Jutland, Denmark has Danish paintings and sculptures from classic modernism up until pre-COBRA on display. The museum is also home to a collection of Golden Age paintings from the Vejle area as well as a collection of drawings, e.g. 50 etchings by Rembrandt. Collection The museum was founded in 1899 when councillor Christian Eckardt donated approx. 2000 drawings. The present collection counts more than 15,000 works on paper including art by Albrecht Dürer, Andrea Mantegna and Rembrandt as well as Danish artists. The collection was substantially enhanced when in 1995 a butcher and his wife donated their collection of early COBRA works to the museum. Listasavn Føroya

Listasavn Føroya (National Gallery of the Faroe Islands) is an art museum in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands for mostly permanent exhibits of Faroese arts. Established in 1989, it consists of a gallery called ''Listaskáli'' (since 1970) and another for historic arts (since 1993) with an area of 1,600 m2. The museum is located at the northern end of the Park of Tórshavn nearby the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands. Architect of the building was J.P. Gregoriussen. The building hosts the Faroe Islands Artist's Association ''Listafelag Føroya''. Bergen, Norway
Bergen (, ) is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway after the capital Oslo. Tórshavn
Tórshavn (; ; Danish language, Danish: ''Thorshavn''), usually locally referred to as simply Havn, is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. It is located in the southern part on the east coast of Streymoy. To the northwest of the city lies the mountain Húsareyn, and to the southwest, the Kirkjubøreyn. They are separated by the Sandá River. The city itself has a population of 14,038 (2024), and the greater urban area has a population of 23,160, including the suburbs of Hoyv%C3%ADk and Argir.
