Frederikshavn FOX Team Nord, (''formerly FOX Team Nord'') was a Danish women's Handball team, founded in 2001 and dissolved in 2010. During the most successful seasons, they played in the Damehåndboldligaen, the top Danish league. The team was founded as a fusion between the clubs, Frederikshavn fI og LSU Sæby in 2001. Idrottsklubben Sävehof better known as IK Sävehof is a Sweden, Swedish professional handball club located in Partille Municipality, Partille. Their home matches are played at the Partille Arena which has a capacity of 4,000. Women's team The women's team competes in Svensk handbollselit, Svensk Handbollselit. They have won the championship 17 times (1993, 2000, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2022, 2023 and 2024) which is the record. Önnereds HK
Önnereds HK is a handball club based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Around 60 teams are organized in the club. Since 1965, handball has been played in the Gothenburg district of Önnered. In 1985, the club was split into a football and a handball department. The handball club moved to the Älvsborg district. In 1992, the ÖHK-hallen was built, which has been the club's home ground since then and now hold up to 1000 spectators. In addition to the large hall, the club also has two smaller ones. The women's team played in the top Swedish division, the Elitserien, in the 2009/10 season. After being relegated in Summer 2010, they compete in the Allsvenskan. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. Svensk Handbollselit
Handbollsligan is the highest division of women's handball in Sweden. The inaugural Elitserien season took place in 1951, with Kvinnliga IK Sport winning the championship. The league currently consists of 12 teams. The eight top teams at the end of every season continue to the playoffs, in which the quarterfinals and semifinals are played as a best-of-five series, unlike the final which is played as a single match. The champion is awarded a spot in the EHF Women's Champions League's qualification stage. Historically, the women's Elitserien was dominated by IK Sävehof, with 17 championships.
