Elimination Chamber (2020)
The 2020 Elimination Chamber (known as No Escape in Germany) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the 10th Elimination Chamber and took place on March 8, 2020, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. This was the second Elimination Chamber to not take place in February after the 2015 event. Eight matches were contested at the event, including one on the Kickoff pre-show. In the main event, NXT's Shayna Baszler won Raw's women's Elimination Chamber match to become the number one contender against Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36. The brand extension, also referred to as the brand split, is the separation of the American professional wrestling promotion WWE's roster of wrestlers (and, at various times, creative staff) into distinct divisions, or "brands".
