El Trono De México
El Trono de México is a regional Mexican band from the state of Mexico. The group was formed in 2004, in Santo Tomás de los Plátanos, a town within the state of Mexico and began their career with "Registros Skalona". They released the albums ''Dos Veces Mexicano'' (2004), ''El Pesudo'' (2005), ''El Muchacho Alegre'' (2006), and ''Fuego Nuevo'' (2007). The last two albums contain the biggest hits of the group: "No Te Apartes de Mi", "Ganas de Volver Amar", and "Se Fue". They were one of the biggest artists in the Duranguense movement during the genre's peak of popularity in the mid to late 2000s. Santo Tomás De Los Plátanos
Santo Tomás de los Plátanos also known as Nuevo Santo Tomás de los Plátanos is a town and municipal seat of the municipality of Santo Tomás, located in the center-west of Mexico State, in Mexico. It is approximately 185 km from Mexico City, and 107 km from Toluca. The town The Náhuatl name for the area was Caltepec, but as early as 1631, records referred to the village here as Santo Tomás, which the municipality is still called. Don Vasco de Quiroga added "de los Plátanos" to the name of the village because of all the banana plantations nearby, but the name was not official until 1975. Few records exist from the colonial period, but the area was under the jurisdiction of San Martín Otzoloapan in the 19th century. Duranguense
Duranguense is a subgenre of regional Mexican music. It is a hybrid of Technobanda and Tamborazo. The instruments used from Tamborazo are the saxophone, trombone, and tambora, while the instruments used from Technobanda are the electronic keyboard (specifically the Korg X3, Korg N364, which are used for the main melody and the Yamaha DX7, which is used by many bands for the bass section), drum set, and vocals. The electronic keyboard is emphasized in Duranguense, giving the genre its own signature riff. In the mid to late 2000s, Duranguense was one of the most prevalent regional Mexican genres. Tierra Caliente music (''música de Tierra Caliente'' in Spanish) is a subgenre of regional Mexican music. History Tierra Caliente music originated in the late 20th century in Mexico's Tierra Caliente region. The genre was influenced by the technobanda sound; essentially using the same instruments such as vocals, electric keyboards, electric bass, trumpets, trombones, saxophones and drums. Some bands also utilize accordions. Tierra Caliente emphasizes the electric keyboard, giving the genre its own signature keyboard riff.
