Álamos Municipality
Álamos is a Municipalities of Sonora, municipality in south-western Sonora, Mexico. It includes the town of Álamos. It is one of the 72 municipalities of the state of Sonora, located in the southeastern part of the state. Its municipal seat is the Pueblos Mágicos, Magical Town of Álamos. Other important localities are: San Bernardo, El Mocúzarit (Mission San Andrés Conicari, Conicárit), Los Tanques, among others. Álamos () is a town in Álamos Municipality in the States of Mexico, Mexican state of Sonora, in northwestern Mexico. Historically an important center of silver mining, the town's economy is now dominated by the tourist sector.
