Rafael Gil (22 May 1913 – 10 July 1986) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. His film ''La guerra de Dios'' (1953) won the Bronze Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1953 and also won best film and best director at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. His film ''La noche del sábado'' (1950) was nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1950 Venice Film Festival and his film ''El beso de Judas'' (1954) was also nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1954 festival in Venice. His film '' Let's Make the Impossible!'' (1958) was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. José Enrique Benito y Emeterio Ysbert Alvarruiz (3 March 1886 in Madrid – 28 November 1966 in Madrid), also known as José Isbert and/or Pepe Isbert, was a Spanish actor. Biography Early life In 1903 he worked at the Court of Accounts (Tribunal de Cuentas), but decided to give up working as a civil servant and that same year he made his stage debut at the Teatro Apolo in Madrid in the play ''El iluso Cañizares'', changing the spelling of his real name from Y to I. Enrique García-Herreros Codesido (29 December 1903 - 18 September 1977) was a Spanish humorist, drafter, poster artist, filmmaker and mountaineer. Luis García Berlanga defined him as the one who invented the promotion and advertising. He found out Nati Mistral and he was the personal manager of Sara Montiel until 12 December 1963. He died from an accident while climbing Cornión, Picos de Europa, on 18 September 1977. He was married to the Olympic sportswoman Ernestina Maenza Fernández-Calvo, with whom he had a child.
