	Eje Thelin Eilert Ove "Eje" Thelin (9 June 1938 – 18 May 1990) was a Swedish jazz trombonist. Biography Thelin, who was self-taught as a musician, started playing with the dixieland group Pygmé Jazz Band, and later joined the sextet of Putte Wickman. Influenced by Miles Davis among others, he then moved towards modern jazz. Thelin led his own quintet from 1961 until 1965, touring in Europe on several occasions. Disillusioned with the Swedish jazz scene, Thelin moved to Austria in 1968, where he taught at the Academy of Music in Graz, while also performing free improvised music with a group led by himself and Joachim Kühn in several European countries. After returning to Stockholm in 1972, he led his own Eje Thelin Group in Sweden for the rest of the 1970's, moving towards jazz fusion and experimenting with electronics. 	Niels Eje Niels Eje (born Copenhagen 1954) is a Danish composer and oboist. Education Niels Eje was educated at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Denmark 1974 to 1979. Thereafter he studied with Lothar Koch of the Berlin Philharmonic. Career His career included a position as principal oboist in the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, (1979 to 1990) performances in Europe, USA and Japan as soloist and chamber musician. 	Eje (goddess) Umay (also known as Umai; ; , ''Ūmai ana''; ; , ''Umay ene''; ) is the goddess of fertility in Turkic mythology and Tengrism and as such related to women, mothers, and children. Umay not only protects and educates babies, but also may separate the soul from the dead, especially young children. She lives in heaven and is invisible to the common people. picture info	Elgin, Joliet And Eastern Railway The Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway was a Class II railroad, making a roughly circular path between Waukegan, Illinois and Gary, Indiana. The railroad served as a link between Class I railroads traveling to and from Chicago, although it operated almost entirely within the city's suburbs, only entering Chicago where it served the U.S. Steel South Works on the shores of Lake Michigan. Nicknames for the railroad included "The J", EJ&E and "The Chicago Outer Belt Line". At the end of 1970, the EJ&E operated 164 miles of track and carried 848 million ton-miles of revenue freight in that year alone.
