Edward Wojewódzki (born 17 November 1937) is a former football coach and manager. Wojewódzki only had one management job in football which was with Lechia Gdańsk in 1982. After a 4–0 defeat in the final months of the season Wojewódzki took over from Michał Globisz Michał Globisz (born 11 December 1946) is a Polish former professional football manager and player. From 1992 until 2010, he was part of the PZPN serving as manager for multiple youth national teams, winning the silver medal at the 1999 UEFA E ... with the aim of keeping Lechia in the division. This did not happen, and Lechia were relegated to the third tier for the first time in ten years. Vileyka
Vileyka or Vilyeyka is a town in Minsk Region, Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Vileyka District. It is located on the Viliya River, northwest of Minsk. Lechia Gdańsk
Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football (soccer), football club based in Gdańsk. As of the 2025–26 Ekstraklasa, 2025–26 season, they compete in the Ekstraklasa. The club was founded in 1945 by people Polish population transfers (1944–1946), expelled from Lviv, Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. In their early years, Lechia enjoyed some success, most notably finishing third in the Ekstraklasa, Polish top division, before spending decades in the second and third tiers. In the early 1980s, Lechia won the Polish Cup, the Polish Super Cup, and played in a European competition for the first time. Michał Globisz
Michał Globisz (born 11 December 1946) is a Polish former professional football manager and player. From 1992 until 2010, he was part of the PZPN serving as manager for multiple youth national teams, winning the silver medal at the 1999 UEFA Euro Under-16 and the gold medal in the 2001 UEFA Euro Under-18. Early life He lived in Poznań until he was 10 years old. From 1964 to 1969, Globisz studied at the University of Gdańsk in Sopot. In 1978, he obtained football license from the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego in Warsaw. He has a class 1 coaching degree. Playing career After moving to Wrocław, he played for his first football club Śląsk Wrocław. He then moved again in 1961 to Gdańsk, where he played for the Lechia Gdańsk and Arka Gdynia youth teams.
