Eduardo Sepúlveda
Eduardo Sepúlveda (born 13 June 1991) is an Argentine racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . He rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. Early life Sepúlveda was born in Rawson, the capital of Chubut Province, in Argentine Patagonia. He started to ride a bike under the advice of his father, Eduardo. In 2007, aged 16 years old, Sepúlveda won the Copa Nacional Infanto Juvenil for young riders in Argentina. However, his father was killed in a car accident while returning home after the event. Sepúlveda recovered from this and later was selected as one of the best young riders of the country and invited to the CeNARD in Buenos Aires, some away from his home in Rawson. After a series of good results, in 2012, Sepúlveda was invited for the Union Cycliste Internationale to the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland, among many other riders from developing countries, including Natnael Berhane, Youcef Reguigui and Josip Rumac. Rawson, Chubut
Rawson (; ) is the capital of the Argentine province of Chubut, in Patagonia. It has 24,616 inhabitants in 2010, and it is the chief town of the Rawson Department. The city is named after Guillermo Rawson (1821–1890), Argentine Minister of the Interior, who supported the Welsh settlement in Argentina. Rawson is located about south of Buenos Aires, some from Trelew, and it is served by the Almirante Marco Andrés Zar Airport in Trelew. It lies on both sides of the Chubut River. UCI ProSeries
The UCI ProSeries is the second tier men's elite road bicycle racer, road cycling tour. It was inaugurated in 2020 UCI ProSeries, 2020. The series is placed below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. Development In December 2018, the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI announced various reforms to the structure and organisation of men's professional road racing. One of the major changes is the introduction of a new division of races called the UCI ProSeries. With the introduction of the ProSeries, the UCI .HC road races disappeared from the calendar.
