Edith Wisa
Edith Wisah Mukuvilani aka Edith Wisa (born 20 July 1994) is a Kenyan volleyball player in the Kenya women's national volleyball team who has played for Kenya at two Olympics. Life Mukuvilani comes from the town of Kakamega and she was born in 1994 and she went to school in Lugulu. She began to play volleyball professionally for the Kenya Prisons team in the 2013/2014 season. In 2018 she was invited with the rest of the National team to a celebration meal in Nairobi before the team flew on the first of three flights that would take them to Japan. She was part of the "Malkia Strikers" team with Japheth Munala as head coach that competed in Tokyo at the 2018 Women's world championships. In 2019 Kenya women won the Volleyball at the 2019 African Games and Mukuvilani was on the team. In that year she transferred from the Kenya Prisons team to the KCB team. Leonida Kasaya (born 10 October 1993) is a Kenyan volleyball player. She is part of the Kenya women's national volleyball team. Agripina Khayesi Kundu (born 24 April 1993) is a Kenyan volleyball player, playing as a libero. She is part of the Kenya women's national volleyball team. She participated at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. On club level she played for Kenya Pipeline Company in 2014 after a company director offered her a permanent job at the end of a match. In the same year she began to represent her country at volleyball. She was chosen to represent Kenya at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Mercy Moim was chosen to captain Kenya's team. It was the first time that Kenya had qualified for the Olympics since 2003. It was a similar team to the one that competed at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball World Cup as it had eight players in common. Lorine Chebet Kaei (born 8 October 1999) is a Kenyan volleyball player who has represented her country internationally including at the Tokyo and Paris Olympics. She has played for Kenya Prisons and Kenya Commercial Bank Women's Volleyball Teams. Life Chebet was born in 1999 in Mount Elgon District in Kenya and she attended Kwanthanze Secondary School in Machakos. She has played for Kenya Prisons and left for an unremarkable stint at Kenya Commercial Bank Women's Volleyball Team while the Prisons team won the Federation title that year. She left the KCB team to attend the Prisons Training College and she graduated in August 2020 as she returned to the Kenya Prisons team. In 2021 the Kenyan national head coach Paul Bitok announced a twelve woman team to compete at the postponed 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
