Edin Julardžija
Edin Julardžija (born 21 January 2001) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as an midfielder for Slovenian PrvaLiga club Mura on loan from Sarajevo. Club career Julardžija was born in the Zagreb neighbourhood of Ferenščica. His father Dino, who hails from Bešpelj near Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was a coach at Dinamo Zagreb academy, which Edin joined when he was six years old. He started attracting attention of prominent European clubs such as Chelsea (whose offer his family refused in 2014), Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Valencia. Julardžija made his senior debut for Dinamo Zagreb on 17 November 2018, in a friendly against Široki Brijeg. He was a key part of Dinamo's 2019–20 UEFA Youth League campaign, notably scoring a Panenka in a penalty shoot-out in the round of 16 against Bayern Munich. Lovro Majer (; born 17 January 1998) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club VfL Wolfsburg and the Croatia national team. Nogometni klub Istra 1961 (), commonly referred to as Istra 1961, is a Croatian professional football club based in Pula, that competes in the Croatian First League. It is a common opinion amongst many people that ''Istra 1961'' was founded in 1961 by merging two clubs from Pula, NK Uljanik and NK Pula, forming NK Istra. The FC Bayern Munich Junior Team is the youth academy for German football club FC Bayern Munich. The Junior Team was created in 1902 and restructured in 1995. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final (competition), final. Panenka (penalty Kick)
In association football, the panenka is a technique used while taking a penalty kick in which the taker, then instead of kicking the ball to the left or right of the goalkeeper, gives a light touch underneath the ball, causing it to rise and fall within the centre of the goal, deceiving the goalkeeper who will most likely have committed to a dive away from the centre. The technique was pioneered by Czech player Antonín Panenka when he scored the winning goal in the penalty shootout that decided the UEFA Euro 1976 final in Belgrade, beating West German goalkeeper Sepp Maier to claim the title for the Czechoslovakia national team. 2019–20 UEFA Youth League
The 2019–20 UEFA Youth League was the seventh season of the UEFA Youth League, a European youth club football competition organised by UEFA. Following the round of 16, the competition was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. The final tournament consisting of the semi-finals and final, originally scheduled to be played on 17 and 20 April 2020 at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland, were officially postponed on 18 March 2020.
