Edi Dželalija
Edi Dželalija (; born November 28, 1969) is a Croatian professional basketball coach. Coaching career First years Born in Šibenik, Dželalija graduated from the University of Rijeka, Rijeka Faculty od Kinesiology and the Faculty of Economics. In 1991, he started his professional Coach (basketball), basketball coaching career with KK Šibenik, Šibenka, where he worked as an assistant coach to Anđelko Matov. Later, he worked five years as junior team head coach and five years as assistant coach of Rijeka-based team KK Kvarner, Triglav Osiguranje. Svjetlost Brod and Croatia (2003–2006) In 2003, Dželalija was appointed head coach of KK Slavonski Brod, Svjetlost Brod, which he led to the Final Four of the HT Premijer liga, Croatian Championship. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. Coaching is usually performed by a single person, often with the help of one or more assistants.
