Ebersbach (; ) is a former town in the district Görlitz (district), Görlitz, in Saxony, Germany. It lies 20 km northwest of Zittau, and 23 km southeast of Bautzen. Since 1 January 2011, it has been part of the town Ebersbach-Neugersdorf. Close to the town is the Klunst granite quarry. Görlitz (district)
Görlitz district (; Upper Sorbian: ''Wokrjes Zhorjelc'' ; ) is a district ('' Kreis'') in Saxony, and the easternmost in Germany. It is named after its capital Görlitz. It borders (from the west and clockwise) the district of Bautzen, the state of Brandenburg, Poland and the Czech Republic. History The district was established in August 2008 by merging three smaller districts: the district of Löbau-Zittau, Niederschlesischer Oberlausitzkreis (Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia district) and the urban district of Görlitz. Ebersbach An Der Fils
Ebersbach is a town in the district of Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg, in southern Germany. History Ebersbach an der Fils was first mentioned in 1170. In 1299, it became a possession of the County of Württemberg, which already owned property nearby. Throughout the Middle Ages, Ebersbach was under the jurisdiction of the city of Göppingen. Under the Kingdom of Württemberg, Göppingen's district was reorganized as , which became Landkreis Göppingen, its contemporary incarnation, in 1938. Ebersbach developed considerably after World War II, first spreading to the west of the city. The city expanded eastward, northeastward, and then westward in the 1980s.
