Eastchester is a Administrative divisions of New York#Town, town in southern Westchester County, New York, United States. Eastchester Bay
Eastchester Bay is a sound between City Island and the mainland Bronx in New York City, New York. Technically, it is not a bay, since it is open to larger bodies of water at both ends. The northern end connects via a narrow channel to Pelham Bay (which is also really a sound, since it, in turn, opens onto Long Island Sound). The Hutchinson River empties into Eastchester Bay near the northern end. The lower portion of the bay opens onto the East River, Little Neck Bay, and Long Island Sound. Eastchester Bay is designated an Essential Fish Habitat by the National Marine Fisheries Service. Many yacht clubs and marinas line the bay on both sides, leading to a high level of recreational boating traffic. Chester is a village on the Chester Peninsula, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. History The French had been present in Acadia since the early 1600s, but when the British expanded into the area in the 1700s, Acadian settlements on the South Shore were few and tiny. MTA Regional Bus Operations operates local and express buses serving New York City in the United States out of 27 bus garage, bus depots. These depots are located in all five boroughs of the city, plus one located in nearby Yonkers, New York, Yonkers in Westchester County, New York, Westchester County. 19 of these depots serve New York City Transit Authority, MTA New York City Transit (NYCT)'s bus operations, while the remaining eight serve the MTA Bus Company (the successor to private bus operations taken over around 2006.)
