Ease is a general purpose parallel computing, parallel programming language. It is designed by Steven Ericsson-Zenith, a researcher at Yale University, the Institute for Advanced Science & Engineering in Silicon Valley, California, the Mines ParisTech, Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, and the Pierre and Marie Curie University, the science department of the University of Paris (post-1970), Sorbonne. The book ''Process Interaction Models'' is the Ease language specification. Methylone
Methylone, also known as 3,4-methylenedioxy-''N''-methylcathinone (MDMC), is an entactogen and stimulant drug of the amphetamine, cathinone, and benzodioxole families related to 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA; "ecstasy"). It is the β- keto or cathinone analogue of MDMA. Methylone is usually taken orally, but is also used by other routes. The drug acts as a serotonin–norepinephrine–dopamine releasing agent (SNDRA). It has much less activity at the vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) than MDMA and may have less serotonergic neurotoxicity. In contrast to certain other entactogens like MDMA, methylone does not appear to be a significant agonist of the serotonin 5-HT2 receptors. Methylone is similar in its effects to MDMA, producing entactogenic effects and euphoria, but has a reputation of being gentler than MDMA and only lasts about half as long. In sewing and patternmaking, ease is the amount of room a garment allows the wearer beyond the measurements of their body. There are two types of ease, wearing ease and design ease. Wearing ease is the amount of room added so that one can engage in daily activities, such as sitting or moving. According to one source, wearing ease is 2 1/2" at the bust, 1" as the waist, and 3" at the hip. A second source notes that ready to wear ease is 2" at the bust, 1" at the waist, and 2" through the hips. Design, or fashion, ease is connected with a designer creating a particular look, and extends beyond wearing ease. The amount of ease allowance leads to specific categories: close-fitting, fitted, semi-fitted, loose-fitting, and very loose-fitting. Patrick Evelyn Hugh Sadler Gale (born 31 January 1962) is a British novelist. Early life and education Gale was born in 1962 on the Isle of Wight, the youngest of four children. His father was the prison governor of HM Prison Camp Hill on the Isle of Wight, and he was brought up in and around prisons. The Experimental Assembly of Structures in EVA and the Assembly Concept for Construction of Erectable Space Structures, or EASE/ACCESS, were a pair of space shuttle flight experiments that were performed on STS-61-B, on November 29 and December 1, 1985. The purpose of the experiments was to study how quickly astronauts would become proficient at assembling space structures during extravehicular activity, and how quickly they would become fatigued, and to explore various construction and maintenance techniques. In particular, researchers studied the applied moments of inertia arising in the manual assembly of a large space structure. At Ease
At Ease was an alternative to the Macintosh desktop developed by Apple Computer in the early 1990s for the classic Mac OS. It provided a simple environment for new Macintosh users and young children to help them to work without supervision. At Ease replaces the Finder desktop, providing a simple tabbed panel-oriented graphical user interface in which applications and documents are represented by icons on large buttons. Aside from its security features, its interface and basic functionality is very similar to the Packard Bell Navigator.
