Commune-level town (), a type of third tier subdivision of Vietnam is divided into 11,162 units along with Ward (Vietnam), ward and Commune (Vietnam), commune have equal status. By virtue of Decree No. 42/2009/ND-CP, township are officially classified into Urban area of Vietnam, Class-2, Class-3, Class-4 or Class-5. Central Highlands (Vietnam)
The Central Highlands (), South Central Highlands (), Western Highlands () or Midland Highlands () is a region located in the south central part of Vietnam. It contains the provinces of Đắk Lắk, Đắk Nông, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Lâm Đồng. Districts (), also known as rural districts or counties, are one of several types of second-tier administrative subdivisions of Vietnam, the other types being urban districts (), provincial cities (), municipal cities (), and district-level towns ().
