EXID Members
EXID (; ; initialism for "Exceed in Dreaming") is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group consists of five members: Heo Sol-ji, Solji, Elly (rapper), Elly, Hani (singer), Hani, Seo Hye-lin, Hyelin, and Park Jeong-hwa, Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl". Though the album gained some attention, it was not until 2014 that the group unexpectedly gained popularity with the single "Up & Down (EXID song), Up & Down", which reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after release due to a fan-recording of a live performance becoming a viral video. EXID released their second EP ''Ah Yeah (EP), Ah Yeah'' in April 2015, to commercial success, and followed this with their first studio album ''Street (EXID album), Street'' (2016) and various other EPs over the years. "Up & Down" () is a song recorded by South Korean girl group EXID. It was released on August 27, 2014 by Yedang Company as a digital single, serving as the lead single for the group's second extended play ''Ah Yeah'', which was released on April 13, 2015. Initially failing to chart, the song eventually became a commercial success in South Korea, peaking at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart 4 months after its initial release, and went on to sell more than 1.4 million digital units by the end of 2015. M Countdown
''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. First hosted by Leeteuk, Shindong, and Kangin of Super Junior, the show has had various celebrity emcees through the years. As of March 2025, ''M Countdown'' is hosted by Sung Han-bin of Zerobaseone and Myung Jae-hyun of BoyNextDoor. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart. MTV K was an English-language online media hub under the MTV brand that focused on K-pop music for a global audience. Huh Gak (; born November 15, 1984) is a South Korean singer. He rose to fame after winning the 2010 Mnet talent competition series '' Superstar K 2'', during which he became known as "the Korean Paul Potts". Early life and education Huh Gak was born in Incheon, South Korea on November 15, 1984. His parents divorced when he was 3, and he and his twin brother, Huh Gong, were raised by their father. Due to his family's financial difficulties, Huh dropped out of school after finishing middle school and worked as a repairman and event singer. Huh later earned his high school diploma in 2018.
