EMSO Simulator
EMSO simulator is an equation-oriented process simulator with a graphical interface for modeling complex dynamic or steady-state processes. It is CAPE-OPEN compliant. EMSO stands for Environment for Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization. The ALSOC Project - a Portuguese acronym for Free Environment for Simulation, Optimization and Control of Processes -, which is based at the UFRGS, develops, maintains and distributes this object-oriented software. Pre-built models are available in the EMSO Modeling Library (EML).http://www.vrtech.com.br/rps/emso.html , EMSO page, Retrieved 7/4/2010 New models can be written in the EMSO modeling language or a user can embed models coded in C, C++ or Fortran into the simulation environment. European Medical Students' Orchestra And Choir
European Medical Students' Orchestra and Choir (EMSOC) consists of medical students and young doctors from all over Europe, all of whom have passion and talent for making music. Each year, the orchestra and the choir meet in a different European city for around ten days of intensive rehearsals and social activities, culminating in several concerts. The proceeds of the benefit concerts go to a selected non-profit medical aid organization. Each course is organised by medical students and junior doctors in the particular host country. History It began in 2009 when European Medical Students' Orchestra (EMSO) and European Medical Students' Choir (EMSC) joined forces to produce a spectacular series of concerts in Ljubljana and Piran, Slovenia under the direction of two conductors - Martina Batič and Marjan Grdadolnik. The union of the orchestra and the choir was so successful that the cooperation of EMSO and EMSC continued with concerts in Chester Cathedral and the Royal Northern Co ... European Multidisciplinary Seafloor And Water Column Observatory
European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and water-column Observatory (EMSO) is a large-scale European distributed Research Infrastructure for ocean observation, enabling real-time interactive long term monitoring of ocean processes. EMSO allows study of the interaction between the geosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere, and the lithosphere; including natural hazards, climate change, and marine ecosystems. EMSO nodes have been deployed at key sites in European seas, starting from the Arctic, through the Atlantic and Mediterranean, to the Black Sea. Overview EMSO is a consortium of partners sharing a common strategic framework of scientific facilities (data, instruments, computing and storage capacity). EMSO is a European Research Infrastructure ConsortiumERIC, a specific legal form created for pan-European large-scale research infrastructures by the European Commission that facilitates the establishment and operation of Research Infrastructures with European interest.. EMSO is one ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
