EF Education–Oatly
EF Education–Oatly is a women's professional cycling team founded ahead of the 2024 season. The team is based in the United States and competes in elite road bicycle racing. The team's main sponsors are EF Education First, Oatly and Cannondale. Team history In June 2023 EF Education announced a new women's team, EF Education–Cannondale. This was announced after both SVB and Tibco stopped their sponsorship of the team. In August, Veronica Ewers, one of the riders, was announced as signing for the new team. In June 2024, the team announced that the Swedish food company Oatly would become a sponsor and changed its name to EF–Oatly–Cannondale. Lotta Henttala
Lotta Pauliina Henttala (née Lepistö; born 28 June 1989) is a Finnish racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . She has won the Finnish National Road Race Championships seven times, consecutively between 2012 and 2018. Career She competed in swimming and triathlon alongside cycling in her youth, before focusing on cycling after becoming Finnish Under-16 road racing champion. She competed in the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence. She qualified to represent Finland at the 2020 Summer Olympics, but did not compete due to pregnancy. After not competing professionally during the 2022 season, Henttala will return to the professional peloton in 2023 with UCI Women's Continental Team . At the 2023 Tour de France Femmes, Henttala was disqualified after holding onto her team car; the ''directeur sportif'' of the team was also asked to leave the race. 2024 Vuelta A Burgos Feminas
The 2024 Vuelta a Burgos Feminas was a Spanish women's cycle stage race held in the Province of Burgos in northern Spain from 16 to 19 May. It was the ninth edition of Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, and the 17th event of the 2024 UCI Women's World Tour. The race was won by Dutch rider Demi Vollering of Team SD Worx–Protime for the second time, after wins on stages 2 and 4. Vollering also won the points and mountains classifications. The youth classification was won by Shirin van Anrooij of Lidl–Trek, and the team classification was won by Canyon–SRAM. 2024 La Vuelta Femenina
The 2024 (officially by Carrefour.es) was the second edition of , a cycling stage race which takes place in Spain. The race took place from 28 April to 5 May, and was the 15th event in the 2024 UCI Women's World Tour. The general classification was won by Dutch rider Demi Vollering of Team SD Worx–Protime, with Riejanne Markus of Visma–Lease a Bike in second place nearly two minutes behind. Third place was taken by Elisa Longo Borghini of Lidl–Trek, with Longo Borghini taking the overall lead in the UCI Women's World Tour standings. The mountains classification was also won by Vollering, with SD Worx–Protime also winning the team classification.
