Duden Park
Duden Park (french: Parc Duden, nl, Dudenpark) is a public park located in the municipality of Forest in Brussels, Belgium. It covers and has a level difference of , with its highest point being at an elevation of . Duden Park is home to the historical football club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, with Joseph Marien Stadium being located to the west of the park near the lowest point, at elevation. The park is adjacent to Forest Park to its north. Forest, Belgium
( French, ) or (Dutch, ), is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. Located in the southern part of the region, it is bordered by Anderlecht, Ixelles, Uccle, and Saint-Gilles, as well as the Flemish municipality of Drogenbos. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). The municipality is commonly known for Forest National/Vorst Nationaal concert hall. It also houses an important jail, an Audi factory and a railway depot that is home to the Belgian fleet of Eurostar train sets. Football Club
A football team is a group of players selected to play together in the various team sports known as football. Royale Union Saint-Gilloise
Royale Union Saint-Gilloise , abbreviated to Union SG or USG, unofficially simply called Union, is a Belgian football club originally located in the municipality of Saint-Gilles, in Brussels, although since the 1920s it has been based at the Joseph Marien Stadium in the neighbouring municipality of Forest. The club is one of the most successful in the history of Belgian football. The club won eleven Belgian championships between 1904 and 1935, making it the most successful Belgian club before World War II. The team colours are blue and yellow and its matricule is 10. Joseph Marien Stadium
The Joseph Marien Stadium (french: Stade Joseph Marien, nl, Joseph Marienstadion) is a multi-use stadium located within Duden Park in the municipality of Forest in Brussels, Belgium. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. The stadium holds 9,400 since 2018 and was opened in 1919. Its entrance is at one end of the Rue du Stade/Stadionstraat. History Early construction In 1909, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise was offered a site in Duden Park in Forest, Brussels.
