Donuzlav Lake
Lake Donuzlav ( rus, Донузлав) also referred to as Donuzlav Bay is the deepest lakeOliferov, A.M. Donuzlav (ДОНУЗЛА́В)'. Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine. of Crimea () and biggest in Chornomorske Raion (). It is a protected landscape and recreational park of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In practice it is no longer a lake but rather a bay since 1961, when a sandy spit ( wide) separating it from the Black Sea was dug out with a 200-metre width channel. The lake is as salty as the sea near its mouth but bottom springs make the water much more sweet near the head. Overview Donuzlav is well known for a top secret naval base that was established here in 1960s as the Soviet Crimean Naval Base. Novoozerne
Novoozerne ( uk, Новоозерне; russian: Новоозёрное, translit=Novoozyornoye; crh, Novoozörnoye) is an urban-type settlement in the Yevpatoria municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. Population: 6,108 as of the 2001 Ukrainian Census, and 7,242 in 2011. The settlement was founded in 1971. It received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1977. ''Cherkasy'', also known as ''U311 Cherkasy'', is a Ukrainian feature film directed by Tymur Yashchenko about the defense of the eponymous naval , blocked by Russian troops in Donuzlav Bay, Crimea during the 2014 capture of Southern Naval Base. Annexation Of Crimea By The Russian Federation
In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. This event took place in the aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity and is part of the wider Russo-Ukrainian War. Wind Turbine
A wind turbine is a device that converts the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy. Hundreds of thousands of large turbines, in installations known as wind farms, now generate over 650 gigawatts of power, with 60 GW added each year.
