Donatella Tesei (born 17 June 1958) is an Italian politician and lawyer, currently President of the Umbria region. Biography Tesei is a civil and administrative lawyer. She served as mayor of Montefalco from 2009 to 2019. She joined the right-wing populist League party and served as the member of the Italian Senate from Terni Terni ( , ; lat, Interamna (Nahars)) is a city in the southern portion of the region of Umbria in central Italy. The presidents of the regional junta, from its proclamation in 1970 until today, were eight and have presided over a total of 14 members. As established by the art. 114, second paragraph of the text, the region of Umbria was established, and the first regional elections took place on 7 June 1970.
